On her way to buy a tractor...

This morning, my first text from Jill was, “Unexpected road trip. Ken and I are on our way to buy a tractor.”

Jill and her husband Ken recently bought 9 acres in rural Georgia. The purchase is the manifestation of several years of wanting to create a retreat space.

The land is perfect, the house that sits on it is perfect and the space, rural, rustic and peaceful is perfect. An ideal place for workshops, yoga retreats and offsite leadership seminars for churches and small businesses.

Last weekend Jill, with the help of friends and volunteers, started to lay the foundation of a labyrinth, a project Jill has been imagining and planning for 3 years.

I’ve known Jill long enough to have been there when the idea of the retreat and the labyrinth were a spark of inspiration. It’s wonderful to be a witness to creative thought becoming a real thing that we can touch and experience ... and buy a tractor for.
